Godfrey Syrett to showcase latest product releases at Clerkenwell Design Week 2018
Furniture designer and manufacturer Godfrey Syrett will return to Clerkenwell Design Week in 2018 to launch the newest additions to their product portfolio, including a versatile light task chair designed by Norbert Geelen, and selected items from their new Timber Collection, launched early 2018.
The Newcastle-based furniture designer and manufacturer will invite visitors to see how they can ‘redefine their boundaries’ and enhance their space with carefully selected and agile furniture choices.
Eze, designed by Norbert Geelen, is supplied exclusively to the UK market by Godfrey Syrett. Eze is an occasional task chair which is ideally suited to conference spaces, touchdown and breakout areas, or meeting rooms. Initially inspired by the tapered shape of a wine glass, the backframe embraces the chair in one simple, bold movement; defining its posture and creating a sophisticated and flowing surface.
Godfrey Syrett will showcase their new Timber Collection, a curated selection of wooden-framed furniture. Launched in early 2018, the Timber Collection embraces the trend towards natural materials in the workplace, and the effect that surface, texture and colour can have on an individual’s wellbeing. Highlights on show at Project include Molly, a comprehensive family of fully upholstered, armless lounge chairs with a variety of frame options; and Mr Jones, refreshed for 2018 with a stunning swivel base.

The furniture designer and manufacturer will also be previewing Isla, a flexible, adaptable seating range; designed for the modern workspace by in-house Product Designer Bob Muir. Isla acknowledges that spaces are continually less distinct, with little definition between work and rest areas; and that often a single space or piece of furniture will need to accommodate many different tasks. A fluid system, Isla can be used as individual seating units; or as a combination of elements to create island chains. With an innovative accessory attachment system, reconfiguration can be easily achieved for an adaptive working environment.
