This project was the remodelling of Regatta's existing industrial warehouse into a striking Grade A office environment complete with showrooms, design workshops, training facilities and an auditorium.
The aim was to bring together the Group's international outdoor brands on a single floorplate that retains brand definition by embracing their distinct culture and values.
The solution was achieved through strategic space planning and working with the four brands to create an internal landscape incorporating four distinct neighbourhoods. Each area has its own unique look and feel, created to break up the space and provide clarity.
Flooring, fabrics, timbers and brand walls have been individually designed to reflect the core DNA of each brand. Slatted structures and vegetation have been added along the main circulation routes to provide distinction as well as some much-needed vertical interruptions.
The judges said:
'The space is comfortable, light, and bright with evidence of improved collaboration among employees. This is an environment that truly supports the needs of the business.'
