Christopher Jenner joins Eurostar as creative director

London-based designer appointed creative director as part of £700m investment programme

He's designed shops for some of the world's most luxurious brands, now Christopher Jenner has been named creative director of Eurostar, the company that runs the high-speed rail network linking London with mainland Europe.

Jenner will be Eurostar's first creative director, and his role is part of a major ongoing project that will see the company invest £700m in its trains and services.

Speaking about his appointment, Jenner said: 'This partnership gives me the opportunity to bring my design skills to a wide range of customer touch points.

'Travel plays such an important part in our lives, and this collaboration with Eurostar will allow me to further elevate the customer experience.'

Relatively new on the design scene, Jenner presented his first studio work - the installation 'The Looking Glass House' - in 2012, and unveiled his toy-like furniture and lighting collection 'Swell' at the Salone del Mobile, Milano in the same year.

A year later he received the award for breakthrough talent at the 2012 FX International Design Awards.

Previous projects by Christopher Jenner include the flagship London store of fragrance brand Penhaligon's in Regent Street.
