Designer furniture inspired by drawing at Gallery Libby Sellers
London gallery presents Drawn From, a exhibition of objects with 'linear qualities'
From wallpaper patterns to entire buildings, so much of what we see around us still begins life as lines on a drawing board (or a bit of paper at least). Now, a new exhibition at Gallery Libby Sellers in London celebrates designed objects that in their own way reference linear or 'drawn' qualities.

Called Drawn From, the exhibition, which is on until 1 March 2014, comprises a number objects, from boldly idiosyncratic stools from Anton Alvarez's Thread Wrapping Machine series to a series of 24 architecture inspired lights by Paola Petrobelli, all of which are described by the gallery as possessing a 'linear quality'.

There's also Hunting & Narud's sculptural Copper Mirror series and pieces from Simon Hasan's Geno series of leather/brass furniture.

Recent exhibitions have included a group show curated by Aldo Bakker, the 'Craftica' series of works with FENDI by Italian designers Formafantasma;and a presentation of hand-woven carpets by acclaimed French graphic design studio M/M (Paris).
