Win a weekend for Copenhagen and see your design for a commercial carpet reproduced and displayed.
Textiles are the most versatile way to bring identity to any building. They have the ability to inject brand or mirror traditional features of a space.
So, Ege and FX are teaming up to offer designers the chance to create a commercial carpet for use in the public sector.
This can mean anything in the public sector domain including hotels, civic buildings and airports – in fact anywhere that good textile design can make a real difference to interior design.
The judging panel will include FX’s Theresa Dowling and Craig Pinder from Ege, plus others.
We are providing contestants the opportunity to win a weekend break to Copenhagen for two, and the chance to see your designs reproduced and displayed at Ege’s London showroom during Clerkenwell Design Week 2018.
The application deadline is 31 March 2018.
The top four entries will be invited to the Ege factory in Denmark on 25-26 of April, 2018.
Submit either a hand-drawn image of your design scaling from dimensions no larger than A3
Send over your ideas in an electronic design format in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
The prize in full offers the winner a two-night stay for two people in Copenhangen’s trendy SP34 Hotel. Included are flights, travel costs to the airport, breakfast and €500 spending money, all provided by Ege.
That’s not all. Runners-up are eligible for branded goody bags and samples of their carpets, as well as having their designs featured in FX magazine.
