Call for next Design Guild Marks
Furniture designers have until 19 February to get their entries in to be considered for a 2014 Design Guild Mark.
Now in its seventh year, the Mark scheme, run by the Furniture Makers Company, is seen as a mark of excellence in the design of British furniture in volume production (shown below is a 2013 Mark recipient, Terry Hunt's UniteSE Spacestation, for KI). A panel of judges, including Wayne Hemingway, Enrico Caruso and Pernille Stafford, is headed by the Furniture Makers Company Master Jonathan Hindle.
