Brown Studio designs London flagship store for warehouse
Brown Studio has completed its latest collaboration with fashion brand Warehouse.
Situated on Oxford Street, the flagship store builds on the brand's concept and heritage of an urban loft gallery space. Drawing inspiration from the converted warehouses of New York's Meat Packing district and SoHo, the design has called for fabric of the building to be exposed and materials selected to help deliver the loft-warehouse experience.
The shop-front design aims to emphasise Warehouse's roots, by evoking an urban industrial aesthetic with exposed brick and ceiling beams, and an angled sky light featured inside the double-height store.
The store also features a private stylist room with changing facilities and seating for privacy and comfort. Other store features include a lounge area with its own full-service till, so customers can pay for their goods within the comfort of a lounge.
