Armourcoat hosts a London reception for the Kiev-based Ukraine Art Space Awards and features in MosBuild, the Russian building and interiors exhibition held in Moscow

Decorative specialist Armourcoat held a reception in London this month for the winners of the recent Ukrainian Art Space Awards. The interior design awards, which took place in Kiev last November, received over 300 high quality entries from Ukrainian interior designers and architects.

An international panel of judges, led by SBID (Society of British and International Design) President Vanessa Brady OBE, short-listed 32 projects and finally selected the winners in eight categories.

The Awards included a special category for an interior project including Armourcoat polished plaster. The category was won by Ukrainian designer Mykola Gulyk of Design Studio Baraban+ for the incredible 'BO' project.

'BO' project

The designer specified Armourcoat polished plaster to create a Tuscan style throughout the interior. Working with local agent Faktura UA, Baraban+ used the material to great effect for wall and ceiling finishes - including the swimming pool and bathroom areas.

The Award was presented to MyKola by Armourcoat CEO Guy Whitehead at the event, which is held every two years in Ukraine and attracts the country's leading designers and architects.

MosBuild, Moscow

Armourcoat participated in the Russian building and interiors exhibition MosBuild in April. The event held in Moscow is the largest annual international event - attracting 70,000 visitors and over 1,500 leading global building, finishing and decorating material brands.

Armourcoat Marketing Director Daniel Nevitt supported the event managed by local agent Studio A Dekor.
