Although A Clockwork Orange was first published in 1962, the cover that was designed ten years later is the one that we see as being the most iconic design. Created by David Pelham to coincide with the release of Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange film adaptation, the final design was completed in a single night. The design, known as the “cog-eyed droog”, instantly became a classic.
