FX’s own materials expert Annabelle Filer votes with her feet and takes a break from lugging hay bales during installation of a showcase of products and materials using eco-friendly straw. The Down on the Farm exhibition was held at her SCIN gallery in Clerkenwell and featured such rustic delights as straw sculptures, paper and construction panels. Filer is reclining on the doughnut-shaped Straw Bench, designed by Hannastina Crick and rst exhibited at last year’s New Designers show in London.
