Studioshaw was established with the belief that good design springs from a positive and active engagement with clients and end users. Specialising in mixed-use, hospitality and residential schemes, the practice is committed to designing buildings with flexibility and longevity, to accommodate a rapidly changing physical and technological world. The firm has a wide range of experience from involvement in a number of prestigious AJ100 practices, enabling the team to apply commercial experience to client and stakeholder relationships as well as project delivery. It is based in Shoreditch, east London, in the ground floor unit of 54 Rivington Street, and welcomes visitors!
Studioshaw tries to do things differently. It looks for the opportunities within a project to challenge the status quo and deliver something original. Its portfolio includes a co-working club focussed on food, a new-build restaurant in registered parkland, the remodelling of an Arts and Crafts-era house, the creation of a cultural ‘factory’ in Bethnal Green, and the design of the ground-floor spaces for retail and food and drink of an office development in Farringdon.
Studioshaw was established in 2016 by Mark Shaw, and chartered by RIBA in the same year.
